Six pits per side begin with four seeds each. Choose a nonempty pit on your side and sow its seeds anticlockwise, one at a time. Include your store and skip your opponent’s store.

Finish in your store to take another turn. Finish in an empty pit on your own side, opposite a pit containing seeds, to capture those seeds and the last seed.

When either side has no seeds, the other player sweeps their remaining seeds into their store. The larger store wins; equal stores are a draw.
