A quiet step. A sweeping loop. A beautifully surprising capture.
How to play
Ivory moves first. Each side begins with twelve stones on the six-by-six intersections. Move one stone to any empty neighboring point, horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
To capture, follow a clear horizontal or vertical track through at least one complete corner loop, then land on the first opposing stone. You may use several loops, but cannot jump a stone or turn at a grid crossing. Captures are optional; both sides use every loop.
Capture the last opposing stone to win. This table draws after 160 total moves, counting captures too; taking the final stone on move 160 still wins. Before that limit, a player with no legal move loses.
